Gerard Attwood

The Victorian Association for Newsagents.

Gerard and Kellie have owned the Sorrento Newsagency on the Mornington Peninsula for 17 years. The business incorporates a Tatts and Australia Post, and they do a big trade in toys, books and gifts.
Prior to this business they owned the Keysborough Newsagency for five years, where they were awarded Australian Newsagents of the Year.
Gerard’s family has been steeped in the newsagency heritage with his mum and dad and brother Colin owning the Murrumbeena Newsagency since 1963.
Returning to the VANA board after a 20 absence, Gerard also has a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and has loved being in the industry.
Outside of work, he is generally busy with four children and is an avid cyclist.
