DISTRIBUTION UPDATE
I can report that Newscorp are in the process of reviewing the newspaper distribution structure in metropolitan NSW and they have flagged the potential reduction in the number of distribution contracts that serve the greater Sydney region. The changes are a result of increasing number of handbacks and the impact on Newscorp customers.
In Victoria, there are currently approximately 194 metro contracts and the situation is not as dire however over time we will also see a rationalisation of territories in Victoria.
Our major distributors here in Victoria continue to do a great job and deliver excellent service on behalf of Newscorp & Nine.
