NEWSCORP DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Members,
The below announcement from News Corp is not what VANA was expecting, nor was it, what were we led to believe.
With many good distributors in Victoria and the narrative from News Corp that Victoria was different has not eventuated with only NDS (Deliveries Plus) being chosen.
We had a clear understanding that a minimum of six (6) distributors would be chosen.
We understand consolidation is a commercial reality as print runs get lower and margins tighter.
We have planned an information session on this outcome and what it means to our members and the transitional timings.
