This week we are pleased to introduce you to Paul & Corinne Nigro and their team from Anglesea Authorised News & Lotto.

Authorised newsagency including newspaper deliveries, The Lott retailer, full range of magazines, latest release novels and discounted books, office supplies including ink cartridges, school supplies, Amazon Hub, Passport eyewear, EPAY, Blueshyft, iGear, Pop Sockets, Mont Marte art supplies, local, state and national maps, books and guides, locally-made giftware and greeting cards, large range of puzzles, diamond art, toys and games, fishing gear, souvenirs, printing, laminating (up to A1 size) and scanning services,Ty products, photo frames and albums, beach toys, games and equipment and we offer free local delivery and gift-wrapping and can post purchases for customers.

During COVID-19, Anglesea Authorised News & Lotto have initiated a ‘Shop Local’ campaign where they have collaborated with other retailers in providing information and no-contact deliveries to their local community.

Shop Local has been promoted through a large mail-out to their local community as well as a dedicated Anglesea Shop Local Facebook page.

To enhance their print and social media campaign Paul & Corinne have submitted an application to the local shire for a COVID-recovery grant.  This will enable them to engage a professional local marketing company to support this initiative.

Anglesea Authorised News & Lotto also provide ongoing support to the local Anglesea Football and Netball Club, where Paul is the senior coach. Paul & Corinne recently ‘hired’ local ladies to make quality face masks with 50% of these sales being donated to the Club.

Paul & Corinne also support the local Bowling Club, Golf Club, Nursing Home, Community House, Lions & Rotary groups, primary schools and kindergarten.

In addition, they actively support various other community businesses.   Paul is on the Board of the Anglesea & District Community Bank and Corinne is involved in the local Business & Tourism group, and until recently was a Director for the Torquay Community Enterprise.

Anglesea has been a proud plastic-bag free town since 2004.  To support this initiative Anglesea Authorised News & Lotto supply their customers with complimentary paper bags and free market bags for large purchases.

We are very proud of the great initiatives Paul & Corinne have implemented in supporting their local community and wish them all the very best.
