With years of experience working in the finance industry, owners Brian Carson and Elisa Luo acquired Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts in November 2019, seeking a lifestyle change. Brian and Elisa have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve the vibrant and family oriented local community in Beaumaris and with their 5 team members, they always provide efficient and friendly service.

Since taking over the business, Brian and Elisa have expanded their product offering and upgraded their shop fittings to attract new customers and make their giftware range more prominent in-store. Brian and Elisa have also employed an experienced merchandising consultant to organise the display of their products, so the newsagency gets a fresh new look every 3-4 weeks.

Brian and Elisa source beautiful giftware to present to the locals. This includes a wide range of beautiful candles, scarves, handbags, jewellery, new born baby gifts, classic and modern photo frames, Marimekko napkins as well as beautiful diaries and notebooks.  They source local and Australian made products, as well as products made overseas to give their customers a variety of options.

Fortunately during COVID-19 lockdown, Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts has continued trading, and were one of the first few businesses to supply hand sanitiser, face masks and disposable gloves to their local community.  To support the growing demand for home office and home schooling materials, Beaumaris News Lotto & Gifts increased their range of stationary, books, puzzles and art supplies.

Less than 7 months in the business, Brian and Elisa sold their first Division 1 prize winning ticket to a local. And just a couple of weeks ago, they sold a Division 2 winning ticket. They are super excited and hope their newsagency is a lucky shop for the Beaumaris community!

Brian and Elisa also proudly support the local Bowling Club, and often support local primary schools and various fundraising events.
